By: COGENCY GLOBAL on Sep 20, 2022 11:00:00 AM

Are you a newly admitted or experienced attorney, paralegal or other legal/financial professional involved in entity formation and corporate/secured transactions? If so, plan to join us on Tuesday, October 18th for our live webinar, Life of a Company Part One: Formation, Expansion and Public Record Requirements.

This webinar will look at early stages in the life of a company, including formation and doing business in other states. We will focus on key decisions that need to be made in the formation process, such as choosing entity type and selecting a jurisdiction, and the formalities and public record requirements that will ensue from those decisions. We will also look at the risks of non-compliance, and the future requirements brought about by the Corporate Transparency Act.

We’ll also cover the decisions to be made as a company expands, including how to determine whether a company needs to qualify in a particular state, requirements for doing so, and the importance of maintaining good standing in every jurisdiction where the company is doing business.
