Content Marketing Manager 

Cogency Global is seeking a Content Marketing Manager for one of our U.S. office locations.

Summary

Cogency Global is seeking a Content Marketing Manager who combines editorial excellence with demand‑generation savvy. You’ll shape our authoritative and sophisticated yet approachable voice, produce high‑impact programs (blogs, video, infographics, email, social, webinars) and partner with Digital, Events, Brand, Ops and Sales to drive both new‑logo acquisition and client retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Editorial Ownership – Maintain and evolve the Cogency editorial style guide; coach stakeholders on tone by segment, funnel stage and channel.
  • Content Production & QA – Write and/or edit long‑form and short‑form assets for web, blog, email, social, events, marketing literature and internal comms; enforce SEO and brand standards.
  • Internal Communications – Align all employee‑facing messages with Cogency’s external voice, reinforcing brand consistency.
  • Campaign Collaboration – Serve as content lead on integrated campaigns with Events, Digital, Brand and Ops; deliver hooks, headlines, nurture streams and speaker scripts.
  • Process & Workflow Design – Partner with Marketing Ops to blueprint scalable content workflows (draft → publish), leveraging HubSpot, WordPress, Monday.com and AI tools where efficient.
  • Cross‑Functional Enablement – Translate Product, Operations and Sales insights into educational resources (case studies, client guides, webinar decks, presentations, white papers, marketing collateral, etc).
  • Program Ideation – Proactively pitch data‑backed content plays—e.g., testimonial series, infographic sprints, buyer’s‑journey nurture packs—to lift lead-to-client velocity.
  • Performance Analysis – Monitor KPIs (traffic, engagement, conversions, influence on pipeline); report insights and optimize.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years B2B content or editorial marketing experience (professional services strongly preferred).
  • Portfolio demonstrating thought‑leadership pieces that generated measurable demand.
  • Mastery of content CMS/MarTech stack (WordPress, HubSpot, social schedulers, Ai content generation tools, etc.).
  • Strong interviewing, storytelling and copy‑editing skills.
  • Autonomous, decisive, and comfortable leading virtual and in‑person contributors.
  • Team‑first communicator with superb written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – interacts well with all levels of staff and management with a positive and enthusiastic attitude 
  • Results-oriented with high expectations for quality, accuracy, attention to detail and overall excellence 

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling content in M&A environments or global roll‑ups.
  • Familiarity with video scripting, podcast production or AI‑assisted content.
  • Working knowledge of ABM personalization tactics and SEO/SEM best practices.

Job Type: Full Time, M-F Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary Range: $95K –$115K Reports to: SVP of Marketing
