Email Marketing Specialist
Cogency Global is seeking a Email Marketing Specialist.
Summary
We’re hiring an Email Marketing & Automation Specialist to own the execution, optimization, and governance of Cogency’s email programs.
This is a hands-on role focused on building repeatable, well-governed campaigns that support events, webinars, sales outreach, and client communications. You’ll partner closely with Marketing and Sales to test messaging, lift conversion rates, and ensure our email programs run reliably, and are easy to measure.
This is a newly created role with room to grow into more advanced nurture and lifecycle programs as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Execution
- Build, QA, and deploy marketing and operational emails in HubSpot, including:
- Event and webinar promotions
- Blog and content updates
- Sales prospecting and ABM-aligned campaigns
- Internal and application-based communications
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to translate priorities, messaging, and offers into clear, effective email campaigns.
- Ensure all emails are accurate, on brand, compliant, and delivered on time.
Automation & Workflows
- Build and manage HubSpot workflows and foundational automations to support:
- Event follow-up
- Sales outreach
- Early-stage nurture programs
- Maintain clean enrollment rules, suppression logic, and consistent reporting.
- Expand automation programs over time as new Sales and BDR capabilities come online.
Testing, Optimization & Measurement
- Run A/B tests across subject lines, CTAs, copy, layout, and cadence.
- Use performance data to improve conversion on priority actions, including:
- Event and webinar registrations
- Sales email responses and meeting bookings
- Application actions (e.g., filing updates, payment follow-through)
- Maintain consistent reporting so results are easy to track, interpret, and share.
Campaign Governance & List Hygiene
- Maintain strong list hygiene, segmentation, and suppression practices to protect deliverability and relevance.
- Apply consistent naming conventions, UTMs, and tracking standards so campaigns are discoverable and measurable.
- Troubleshoot issues from build through reporting (links, lists, enrollment, tracking, and data flow) to ensure accuracy end-to-end.

- Email programs are repeatable, reliable, and easy to measure
- Conversion rates improve across priority email actions
- Marketing and Sales trust the data and the execution
- Email execution is no longer a bottleneck for the Marketing team
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building and managing email campaigns and workflows in HubSpot
- Strong understanding of A/B testing and how to apply results to improve performance
- Comfort with analytics, reporting, and troubleshooting issues end-to-end
- High attention to detail with a strong QA mindset
- Organized, process-oriented approach to campaign execution and governance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
- HTML/CSS experience for responsive email design
- Experience testing emails across clients (e.g., Outlook) using tools like Email on Acid or Litmus
- Exposure to sales- or ABM-supporting email campaigns

Job Type: Full Time, M-F Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000
