The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing fast-paced, high-activity teams while upholding our dedication to integrity, fairness, and fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate consistent and productive communication with management, peers, staff, and clients.
- Manage staffing needs, including scheduling, balancing work, and hiring/training new employees.
- Participate in strategic planning to improve existing organizational processes and procedures, enhancing and sustaining the organization’s capacity.
- Ensure operational activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead, motivate, and support the team in a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
- Conduct annual reviews, hold monthly 1:1 meetings, and implement career development plans for all direct reports.
- Utilize reporting to manage operations, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Resolve issues effectively.
- Actively participate in the development process, facilitating team involvement in feedback and testing of proprietary systems.
- Manage local reconciliation and prepare and monitor budgeting for the Sacramento location.
- Build strong partnerships with the sales team for effective account management in the territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or five years of industry experience.
- One year experience preferred of proven experience in a supervisory role within operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn proprietary applications.
- Ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control over branch operations and customer service.
- Strong personal and professional judgment.
- Big-picture thinking, adaptability, and strong organizational skills, including the ability to shift quickly between priorities and manage multiple functions and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and collaborate effectively with employees and other departments to develop strategies that benefit the entire team.
Additional Information
Job Type: Full-time Non-Exempt; M-F Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Salary: $70k – $75k
