To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced operations supervisor to oversee daily activities of our Springfield, IL office. An ideal candidate will have experience successfully managing fast paced, high activity teams while maintaining our commitment to building a successful business with a demonstrated commitment to integrity, fairness and fun in an environment that is safe for all.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate consistent and productive communication with management, peers, staff, and clients.
  • Manage staffing needs, including scheduling, balancing work, and hiring/training new employees.
  • Participate in strategic planning to improve existing organizational processes and procedures, enhancing and sustaining the organization’s capacity.
  • Ensure operational activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the team in a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
  • Conduct annual reviews, hold monthly 1:1 meetings, and implement career development plans for all direct reports.
  • Utilize reporting to manage operations, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Resolve issues effectively.
  • Actively participate in the development process, facilitating team involvement in feedback and testing of proprietary systems.
  • Manage local reconciliation and prepare and monitor budgeting for the Sacramento location.
  • Build strong partnerships with the sales team for effective account management in the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or five years of industry experience.
  • One year experience preferred of proven experience in a supervisory role within operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn proprietary applications.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control over branch operations and customer service.
  • Strong personal and professional judgment.
  • Big-picture thinking, adaptability, and strong organizational skills, including the ability to shift quickly between priorities and manage multiple functions and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and collaborate effectively with employees and other departments to develop strategies that benefit the entire team.

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-time Exempt; M-F Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Salary: $70k – $80k DOE
