By: COGENCY GLOBAL on Aug 9, 2023 3:42:48 PM

By now, if you are a UCC filer, you probably have heard about the new IACA promulgated July 1, 2023 UCC forms. Many states are accepting the new forms, and some states have already established specific dates for the rejection of the older 2011 UCC form versions.

Keep the below dates in mind if you prepare and file UCC Financing Statements and be sure you are submitting your UCCs on the state-approved UCC forms. We'll update this page with any news or changes regarding the new UCC forms.

UPDATE: The Arizona Secretary of State office is now accepting both the 2011 and 2023 UCC form versions. Both versions are acceptable until sometime in 2024 when the Arizona state statute is adjusted.

States that will accept the 2011 version of the forms in addition to the new 2023 forms but with a non-standard filing fee

  • Florida (effective after July 16, 2023)
  • Louisiana (effective after July 31, 2023)

States that will reject older form versions after July 31, 2023

  • Georgia
  • Idaho
  • Illinois
  • Texas

As states transition to the new UCC forms, UCC ProFile and UCC FAST (former Unisearch clients) will be updated with the corresponding state-approved form versions.

We will continue to monitor states and keep clients updated. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
