Per Public Act 16-97, starting in 2018 and going forward, all Connecticut limited liability company (LLC) annual reports will be due between January 1st and March 31st. Note that this change will likely result in your annual report needing to be filed earlier than in past years.
Transition to New Deadline for Existing Connecticut LLCs
Previously, the LLC annual report due date was the last day of the original formation or qualification month in Connecticut. The change in the deadline will not impact 2017 annual report due dates. For example, if your 2017 LLC annual report is due to be filed in December 2017, you will be required to file the annual report during the month of December and will need to file it again between January 1st and March 31st 2018.

Deadline for LLCs Newly Formed or Qualified in Connecticut
Going forward, the annual report deadline for LLCs forming or registering/qualifying in Connecticut will be between January 1st and March 31st of the year following the calendar year in which the LLC was formed or registered. So, if you form or qualify an LLC in Connecticut in the remainder of 2017, your annual report will be due in the first three months of 2018. The deadline for LLCs formed or qualified at any time in 2018 will be in the first three months of 2019.
