For those who need documents legalized for use in Palestine, the Trump administration announced the closure of the Palestinian delegation’s office on September 10th.
We were unsure whether the closure was to take place immediately or after some type of winding down period.
After several attempts, we have determined that the D.C. office has closed and let go or reassigned all employees and that the office in New York (Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations) will not handle the authentication of documents.
At this time, documents cannot be authenticated in the U.S. for use in Palestine.
We will continue to monitor the situation and advise of any changes.
